THE JOB
In this uniquely positioned IT Technician role, you stand to gain exposure to the inner workings of a global company while still maintaining the ability to have your voice heard in an approachable and integrative culture. We are a rapidly expanding team within a resilient organization experiencing aggressive growth and are looking to add an ambitious, well-rounded individual to our roster.

The IT Technician is responsible for providing timely and effective resolutions to technical problems related to IT-serviced computer and phone operations. This will be accomplished by performing troubleshooting on technical issues, guiding users through to issue resolution, communicating technical solutions in user-friendly language, and conducting end-user training when necessary. The IT Technician is responsible for ensuring all work is done in accordance with Hy-Tech procedures and following safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitors IT Support email.
Performs email setup, problem solving and enhanced feature usage.
Assists users with software such as MS Office, Acrobat, etc.
Resolves network issues; VPN, Internet, Shares (assists IT Manager).
Programs, Troubleshoots, and provides assistance with the use of the phone system.
Resolves Windows PC issues.
Troubleshoots and provides problem resolution for iPhones and iPads. Also assists with Hy-Tech app ongoing maintenance and upkeep.
Troubleshoots and provides problem resolution for printers and scanners (office and field).
Identifies and resolves workplace ergonomics issues.
Offers ongoing support to the IT Manager as needed for equipment maintenance, tracking, and upkeep of current IT systems (Software and Hardware).
Offers remote support for field and office employees based in satellite locations.
Research and testing of new technologies that could be used to enhance operational functions.
