Description

Manos Restaurant and Lounge is looking for two (2) Cooks

Full/part-time, year-round (permanent), shift work, including weekends in Saskatoon, SK

Location of Employment: 200-1820 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK, S7H 0T6, Canada

Wage: Starting $15/h with one year of experience, higher wage is negotiable depending on experience and skills

Extended medical benefits available after 1 year of employment.

Requirements
We are looking for experienced cooks who are honest, reliable, have a positive attitude and enjoy cooking. We require a minimum 1 year of direct experience as a cook preparing meals in a sit-down restaurant. A culinary education is preferred but not required. Successful candidates must have experience with the below duties are responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
-    Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards.
-    Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders.
-    Store food in designated areas following all corporate and provincial food safety and sanitation procedures.
-    Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures.
-    Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils.
-    Clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area.
-    Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to comply with all sanitation, safety, production and merchandising requirements.
-    Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain thee to associates and customers.
-    Keep up with peak production and service hours.
-    Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies.
-    Track product production, consumption, and waste.
-    Inform supervisor when supplies or products are low.
-    Other duties as required
