Description

Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the ABE Instructor will plan organize and implement an instructional program and learning environment that guides and encourages learners to develop and fulfill their academic potential. This instructor provides instruction and learning opportunities within the Adult 12 program in Maple Creek. Initial subject assignments anticipated are English A30 and B30 and Pre12 (GED). The intent is to provide students with the skills and dedication needed to enter into employment or into further specific educational, technical and vocational training or self-improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education Degree.
- Saskatchewan Teachers Certificate.
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
- Knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of adult education.
- Knowledge of ABE specific subject matter (GED and Adult12).
