ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Being fit and ready for work at the start time.
Health and safety policies, regulations, and procedures (written and verbal) are followed at all times.
Act respectfully towards others, and work in a team environment in a safe and efficient manner.
Use company assets (e.g., tools) in a safe and respectful manner.
Show willingness to learn new skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience with small tools, grinders, saws and can use various basic shop equipment required.
Canadian resident and fluent in English.
Forklift license would be an asset but not required.
Experience in manufacturing preferred.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understanding and complying with all Company Quality/Safety policies, procedures and rules and carrying out all activities including the operation of any machinery in a safe, responsible manner.
Ensure proper training has been received before undertaking any job.
Ensuring that all required and appropriate PPE be worn at all times.
Perform other tasks as assigned and deemed safe by the supervisor or designate that may or may not be in your area of work.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment within your workspace.
