Facility: CREIGHTON SITE
Job Description: Under the supervision of the Manager, Primary Health Care, the home care nurse provides nursing services as assigned in accordance with the current Home Care Policy Manual and College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) Practice Standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working with geriatric clients would be considered an asset
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Valid drivers license required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrate empathy, concern and interest in providing quality care for all home care clients
- Must possess effective communication skills and the ability to relate to all individuals
- Ability to deal with clients in their homes and adapt to frequent changes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstration of efficiency and a calm manner in providing nursing services
- Be physically fit and able to perform duties as outlined

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons. Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC and/or VSC during the recruitment and selection process.
