Description

We require 3 Elementary Teachers for the 2024 -2025 School Year.
Responsible for ensuring that all  their students are instructed, assessed, and supported in a safe and welcoming learning environment.  
Serve as a role model and assist staff and community in creating a top-quality educational experience that is culturally based for all students.
Knowledgeable about Indigenous education, including the importance of place-based, land-based and Treaty education, working with Elders and Knowledge Keepers.
Indigenous language and culture skills are an asset to this position.
The ability and willingness and capabilities to work with young to pre-teen children.
Demonstrating good judgement, respect for the organizational policies and Ocean Man traditions and values.
You are an educational leader with a persistent belief in the learning success of students, and expectations for a high standard of excellence.
