Reporting to the Director, this position will help drive alignment of the Crown sector with the provinces goals and priorities and lead CICs strategic planning processes. The Senior Strategic Planner supports executive leadership in developing direction for the Crown sector, including CIC and ensuring key risks are identified and managed. In this role you will:
Lead CICs Enterprise Risk Management process to identify, assess, and rate the organizations key strategic and operational risks. This includes maintaining effective policies, frameworks and tools, facilitating the annual risk review process, and ongoing monitoring and reporting; Implement performance management frameworks, metrics, and reporting systems to monitor the effectiveness and impact of corporate and Crown sector initiatives; Monitor and report on CICs corporate performance to senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Develop contacts, maintain relationships, and provide strategic advice to Crown sector planning officials; Develop recommendations for CICs senior leadership to enhance alignment of the Crown sector with the provinces goals and priorities; Deliver presentations to CICs Executive, Board of Directors and/or other Crown committees regarding strategic priorities, policies or programs; Support cross-functional team collaboration and development of business strategies that drive CICs Business Plan;
Collaborate with key stakeholders to advance best practices in public reporting and disclosure at CIC, including developing sections of CICs Annual Report.
