AGT Foods, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is seeking a Manager - Forecasting and Complex Accounting to join our Regina Head Office team.

This person will work closely with the Managing Director of Accounting Services on all aspects of budgets and forecasts, including sensitivity analysis on scenarios.   Additionally, the position will be a key part of the quarterly financial process, executing spreadsheets related to complex accounting including purchase price allocation and hyperinflation.  The individual will also be a key contributor to the goodwill impairment testing, utilizing the budgets that have been prepared and approved. Finally, the individual will be part of any future investment or divesture initiatives.
Duties:

Reporting:
    Lead annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecast process
    Prepare goodwill impairment assessment
    Prepare key spreadsheets supporting consolidation entries including purchase price allocation, fixed asset revaluation and hyperinflation
    Liaise with auditors
    Participate in complex accounting initiatives as necessary
    Assist with accounting initiatives around future investment or divestures
    Other duties and projects as required and assigned

Management:
    Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
    Maintain a system of internal controls

Employment Requirements:
    Professional accounting designation with five-ten years related experience
    Knowledge of IFRS desired
    Excel experience pivotal
    Thoughtful preparation of items, giving consideration to reviewers needs
    Exceptional leadership qualities including strong communication skills and attention to planning, process, and detail
