The Consultant, Financial Analysis role provides subject matter expertise in financial analysis and financial modelling. As a member of SaskPowers Finance team, this position is responsible for supporting all aspects of analysis including calculating financial metrics (net present value, levelized cost of energy, IRR, etc.) assessing macroeconomic impacts of projects, and measuring the impact these projects have on SaskPowers net income and electricity rates charged to customers. An understanding of treasury instruments (debt, commodity swaps and foreign exchange) is also beneficial in this role. As a member of SaskPowers management team, this position is responsible to act as a central point of contact in the management and administration of strategic and operational functions, providing expert advice and direction that aligns with departmental and corporate goals and objectives.
