Description

In coordination with the Canada Summer Jobs grant Regina Transition House is seeking 2 mature and hard working HR summer students to support a number of on going HR projects.  We are looking to provide candidates with HR knowledge opportunity to develop their HR skills and build or experience in a supportive environment. We provide opportunity to be part of a well-established organization working to eliminate abuse towards women and children.
                    
Position Description and Key responsibilities:
The successful candidates will report to the Operations Manager and will work with the Administration Team to  support the following projects as directed;
Tracking system development for grant and funding cycle: support for tool development including research and cycle mapping
Scheduling system refresh to meet expanding needs: support for tool development including use of Excel
Policy, Training, and Program Manual organization and development

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Office Administration
Applicant must be Canadian Citizen/PR/Refugee under the immigration and Refugee Protection Act (As defined in Page-2)
Proficient in Excel
Valid Criminal Record check including Vulnerable Sector

Knowledge and Skills:
Maintain strict confidentiality of privileged information
Demonstrate ethical behaviour in business practices
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Clear and effective communication
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong problem solving and time-management skills
Consistent accuracy
Timely responses to administrative requests that pertain to project tasks
