Description

As the Regional Manager (Northwest), you will play a key role in promoting and supporting the growth of Talking Stick and other First Nations programs in the Northwest regions of Saskatchewan. The Regional Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of program delivery, program management, communications, and reporting for their designated region of communities.

The Regional Manager will build awareness, momentum, and support for Talking Stick and other First Nations programs as required. This is an intermediate-level position that requires a high degree of accountability, ownership, and interpersonal management skills.

Additionally in this role, you are responsible for training and providing oversight to a regional team of Indigenous Peer Advocates (approximately 20-30 people), while ensuring a safe and collaborative work environment for everyone. You will engage in proactive communications with Peer Advocates, directing their day-to-day work, and removing any challenges or obstacles, especially those having to do with safety and service delivery, while ensuring their efforts adhere to the program's needs.

This position requires frequent travel, including long-distance drives for in-person meetings, presentations, and community/school visits across the Province. Some overnight travel is required.
