Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a team-oriented & professional Dermatologist to join our dynamic & expanding Department of Medicine. The specialist would join the Saskatchewan Health Authority  Regina Area on a fee-of-service basis.
The specialist would join our team of Dermatologists who currently provide service in an office-based setting, have admitting & consulting privileges in the acute care setting, & who also provide services at the phototherapy clinic.
The University of Saskatchewan is a research-intensive institution with 22,000 students and 7,000 faculty and staff, & a strong reputation for innovation and excellence. The College of Medicine has an intake of 100 students per year with a commensurate number of positions for residency training. The Department of Medicine has distributed training sites in Saskatoon and Regina.  The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, & continuing medical education programs of the Department of Medicine and Division of Dermatology in the Regina Area and will be appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.
Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Dermatology. Applicants will be eligible for provisional or regular licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) to practice in Saskatchewan.  
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff & management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient & family centered care.
In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens & permanent residents of Canada.
The start date for this position is negotiable. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
