Description

Applications are invited for a tenure-track faculty position in the Lab Instructor category. The successful candidate must have the ability and enthusiasm to develop, revise, and conduct undergraduate lab courses in one or more of the areas of program specialization (Communications, Micro-Electronics, Control Systems, Power) as well as in core electronic systems topics. In addition to lab courses in core electronic systems topics (ENEL 280/ENEL 281/ENEL 282/ENEL 383/ENEL 384), the successful candidate will be required to conduct two of three lab courses in the Communications (ENEL 341/ENEL 442) and Micro-Electronics (ENEL 351) areas within one year of their appointment and to conduct all three lab courses listed within two years of their appointment.

Requirements:

- a B.A.Sc. or equivalent in Electronic Systems Engineering or a closely related area. The candidate will also have the appropriate credentials for registration as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan,

or

- a Diploma of Applied Science/Technology in Electronic Systems Engineering or a closely related area. The candidate will also have the appropriate credentials for registration as an Applied Science Technologist in Saskatchewan. Applied Science Technologists are expected to work toward registration with APEGS as an Engineering Licensee during the course of their employment.
