Nature of work:
To support the Poultry producers in Saskatchewan with the day-to-day nature of raising poultry.
Job Description:
-Routine Flock Health Visits to farms
-Necropsies and sample collection, recovering and tracking case information
-Serology Samples
-Data Collection
-Flock weight Projections
-Barn Management
-Administrative work: reporting, maintenance of client files, phone calls
-Experience with necropsy and poultry species will be considered a strong asset.
Requirements:
-Valid Drivers license
-Education: Completion of high school is required
-Experience: experience working with poultry or a post-secondary diploma in agriculture or livestock production, Veterinary health Technician would be considered a strong asset
-Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Important information:
-flexibility is required, but the selected candidate will work 8 hours a, 5 days a week with some weekend work and overtime. Weekend work is required to ensure animal welfare. This is a one year term position
