Job Description: The Public Health Nurse provides nursing services within the framework of the Population Health model. Public Health Nurses translate knowledge from the health and social sciences to support health enhancing behaviours of individuals, families, and population groups through targeted interventions, programs, and advocacy.  Job description is available upon request
This position is based in Nipawin.
Minimum of 1 year recent relevant experience.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to be flexible when managing time and workload issues
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a variety of people and organizations
Knowledge in public health concepts
Knowledge of community development and population health promotion concepts
Knowledge of growth and development of newborns, children, adolescents and adults
Skills in oral and written communication
