Description

The Saskatchewan Early Childhood Association (SECA) is a member based organization which supports Early Childhood Educators and Early Learning and Child Care facilities throughout the province. SECA wishes to hire an Interim Executive Director on a full time, 15 month term position, starting on August 1, 2024. SECAs main office is located in Weyburn, SK but there is opportunity to work a hybrid model with required travel.

Skills and Assets:
- Early Childhood Education is a must

- Attention to Detail

Responsibilities included, but are not limited to:
Act as primary staff for the Board of Directors
Coordinate with the Chair regarding meeting dates and agendas
Attend all regular and special meeting of the Board of Directors
Plan, execute, and report on the operations of SECA in accordance with the strategic plan, by-laws, and policies of the Board
Provide leadership to and manage the efforts of site staff to ensure appropriate support of all departments by providing career coaching, growth, and personal development for staff
Oversee and provide support in organizing all SECA events
Coordinate and lead annual budget reviews, monthly and quarterly reviews, and periodic forecast updates with operational and senior management
Ensure services and funding relationships are robust enough to meet or exceed strategic goals and objectives
Coordinate with the Chair for media events and public speaking opportunities
Work collaboratively with Ministry of Education and existing Early Learning groups
All other duties as assigned by the Board
