Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic summer worker to assist with various tasks in our museum and library. This flexible position is for 30 hours a week, including some weekend work. Starting in late June for a period of 8 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
    Engage with visitors and patrons, providing them with insightful information about our exhibits and collections.
    Aid in cataloging Museum Exhibits
    Aid in conducting enthusiastic Storytime sessions with children of all ages.
    Aid in preparation and organizing craft materials for children's activities.
    Shelve books and assist with library organization.
    Work independently to manage and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
    Lead children through crafts, activities, games, and Storytime both indoors and outdoors.
    Assist with various museum and library events and programs.
Qualifications:
    Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.
    A strong general interest in learning and sharing the stories of our region.
    Demonstrates initiative, and self-discipline, and is comfortable working alone and managing their work and time.
    Comfortable with working with computers.
    Enjoys working with the public and providing excellent customer service.
    Energetic and enthusiastic
