Description

We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual, possessing a solid business acumen and the ability to work independently based on direction provided by the Engineering Management team.

Key responsibilities will include:
*Review the Suppliers Data Requirement List with the QA Manager and Project Manager and devise a method to record, trace and follow up on the status of all documents mentioned in the SDRL.
*Design the format of documents meant for submission to the client for approval.
*Ensure that the document register is up-to-date, and entries are correct.  Submit and control with official transmittal, and/or provide copies of updated drawings/documents to the client, shop floor and sub-vendors.  All obsolete versions should be removed and archived.

The ideal candidate will have:
*Required to use advanced level of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint along with Adobe PDF and various File Transfer Protocol applications [FTP].
*Knowledge of manual or electronic document control systems will be considered an asset.
*Minimum of 2 years of document control work experience in the environment of welding and steel fabrication
*Internally motivated individual who is a self-initiator.
*Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
*Excellent organization and time management skills.
*High school diploma or equivalent, with a college or university degree preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.
