Your Opportunity at SECURE Energy

The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager by assisting in gathering, distributing, and organizing information related to estimating, project setup, proposals, reporting, safety, profitability, and costing. Initially, a Project Coordinator will be internally focused and contribute to their team.

A Day in The Life

Safety
-Adhere to all SECURE safety policies and procedures
-Coordinate with the Safety Department
-Aid in project documentation and preparation
-Participate and lead safety meetings

Estimating and Bidding
-Assist in preparing estimates in Hard Dollar
-Read tender documents to understand scope and specifications
-Conduct take-offs from drawings for Hard Dollar
-Incorporate third-party quotes
-Ensure projects comply with policies

Scheduling and Planning
-Learn scheduling and planning activities
-Document site activities, create start-up sheets, and folders
-Make site visits to understand the scope

Reporting and Cost Tracking
-Assist with Fieldsafe & Kronos for cost tracking
-Enter daily time sheets in Field Safe
-Track costs with the Project Manager
-Prepare invoicing and status reports
-Assist with project closure tasks
-Maintain project tracking binders
-Complete project setup in internal programs
-Enter project costs, including labor, equipment, and third-party expenses

Risk
-Identify risks based on contracts and site conditions
-Communicate risk mitigation strategies
-Assist in third-party contractor risk identification

Qualifications
-Recent diploma or degree in Environmental or Engineering
-0-2 years of related experience
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
-Commitment to safety culture
-Ability to work on multiple contracts
-Strong attention to detail
