Avena is seeking a Senior Associate, Sales and Marketing to join our team on a full-time, 18-month term position with potential for permanent employment. This position is based in Regina, SK and will involve some travel. Reporting to the VP, Sales and Marketing, this position is a responsible and active member of the dynamic sales and marketing team at Avena. As such, they will contribute to B2B sales, marketing, and communication activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing campaigns and strategy to generate B2B leads, grow in-house subscribers/mailing list, cultivate audience engagement and drive brand awareness through appropriate social platforms
Work closely with Avenas digital marketing strategy team to maintain and manage corporate website and SEO
Review analytics, monitor and identify competitors, industry trends, identify market gaps and develop plans to improve marketing strategies and sales activities
Create marketing and communications collateral including sales materials, presentations, digital and social media content (graphics and videos), newsletters and website blogs to support the sales team and B2B partners
Coordinate corporate events & educational meetings (in-person/ virtual)
Support marketing team to coordinate and organize tradeshows
Qualify incoming website and telephone leads under the supervision of the VP, Sales and Marketing
Support & develop inside sales.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree, certificate or diploma in related field, or relevant experience
Excellent written communication skills
Knowledge of Food Science & experience in B2B marketing is preferred
Proficiency with video & photo editing tools preferred
Proficiency in marketing tools, ERP/CRM systems & digital marketing platforms . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer and technology skills as this position requires use of Microsoft 365, NetSuite, Google Ads/Keywords, Mailchimp, social media platforms, Zoom/Canva.
