Competencies
1. Graduate from an accredited or approved university Physiotherapy program and eligible for and maintains licensure to practice as a Physiotherapist in the province of Saskatchewan.
2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience practicing physiotherapy in a progressive work environment. Experience working with members in a public safety occupation would be an asset.
3. Eligible for and maintains membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
4. Currently has or is able to receive WCB/SGI accreditation to provide primary and/or secondary treatment.
5. The incumbent must be skilled in the ability in the assessment, identification and treatment of clients in varying ages and diagnosis and have a high level of independence of function.
6. Demonstrate responsible decision making through applicable knowledge, critical thinking, and sound clinical, ethical, and legal practice.
7. The successful candidate will be innovative in integrating diverse knowledge areas into new methodologies and will demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment.
8. In addition, to be successful, the candidate will be required to pass the Regina Police Service security clearance process.
