Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP has an opening for a receptionist.  As our ambassador for the firm, the ideal candidate should be professional and friendly in nature, have a positive attitude, excellent communication and organizational skills as well as computer knowledge of word documents and spreadsheets.  The successful applicant must have above average communication/interpersonal skills, be comfortable on the telephone and greeting clients in person, have a strong work ethic, and will be expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.


The position will involve responsibilities which include:

    - Answering a multi-line phone system and directing calls to the appropriate person/department and answering general inquiries
    - Greeting clients
    - Accepting payment from clients
    - Handling incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
    - Assisting with general administrative tasks
    - Updating library material as required
    - Keeping the reception area organized and presentable
