Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is accountable for contributing to the efficient operation of the department by providing secretarial, organizational and administrative support services.
Qualifications:
Education:
Grade 12 plus graduation from an approved office education training program.
Experience:
Three to five years experience in a senior administrative assistant position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge and competency in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other programs necessary to support this service area. Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal, public relations, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Self motivated with the ability to work independently and to exercise sound judgment in setting priorities. Typing speed of 65 70 wpm.
Additional Information:
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons. Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC and/or VSC during the recruitment and selection process.
