Description

Prairie Branches Enterprises Inc. (PBE) is a non-profit, community-based organization providing residential, day program and support services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. PBE is inviting applications for the position of Program Coordinator in Unity.

DETAILS: This is a permanent full-time position consisting of 35 hours/week. The typical schedule is Monday  Friday 8:30 am  3:30 pm.

NATURE OF DUTIES:
Provides support to participants in a manner that maximizes their potential and quality of life.  Duties include, but are not limited to:  Programming, Transitioning, Behavior Support Planning, Developing Person-Centered Plans with the input of each Participants support group, Presenting and assisting staff to implement Person-Centered Plans, Liaison with Families, Community Networking, Administrative Duties, Staff Supervision and Training.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
   1.  Minimum of 2 year diploma in post-secondary such as Rehabilitation Services, Disability Support Worker, Educational Assistant.  Related post-secondary education and/or equivalent training and experience may be considered.
   2.  Minimum 2  5 years of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
   3.  Minimum 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience and/or training
   4.  Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers license
   5.  Must provide a current Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector Search prior to employment
   6. Must be available to work flexible hours which may include evenings and weekends

REPORTS TO:  Executive Director    

DIRECT REPORTS:  Direct Support Professionals in the Unity Day Program and Supported Independent Living Program Workers
