Description

Pro Metal Industries has been in operation for over 30 years. Pro Metal is a full-service metal fabrication and machining facility. We work with many world class customers in the agriculture, mining, military and defense and energy sectors, to name a few. Pro Metal is a rapidly growing company and is 100% owned by Pasqua First Nation Group of Companies.
Our team is very diversified, and you have the opportunity to learn and/or utilize fabrication skills. Our work is very diversified and fabricate/weld production parts as well as custom projects. One day you could be creating assemblies for agriculture equipment and the next creating a custom decor piece. Pro Metal fabricates using steel, stainless and aluminum.
Welding Duties:
-Ability to fit up and weld assemblys.
-Read blueprints and shop drawings and manufacture required parts to the specification and tolerances indicated on drawings
-Complete welds per company and defined welding procedures
-Aluminum Welding
-Take pride in your work and meet quality standards
-Check welded parts with measuring tools to ensure they meet tolerances
-Operate hand power tools; Operate forklift and overhead cranes;
-Keep work area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 - 5 years experience in welding and fabrication; Ability to use measurement tools; read and work with production work orders, blueprints, and diagrams; Experience with welding aluminum is required; Experience with GTAW processes is an asset (TIG Welding); Knowledge in non-ferrous metals an asset
Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
