Responsibilities:
-Work to support technical and operational aspects of projects and geophysical data services
-Work with legacy geophysical data; review and archive historical data
-Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of machine learning tools
-Contribute to the development and maintenance of regional geophysical data compilations. Review and process new airborne geophysical data for incorporation into regional compilation dataset
-Provide technical support to project geophysicists as required, contributing to geophysics modeling and geophysics analysis during the field season and writing technical reports as required
Skills and Qualifications:
-Degree in geophysics or related discipline
-Registered, or ability to register with APEGS as a Professional Geoscientist, Engineer, or Geoscientist-in-Training
-Experience with applied geophysical methods and familiarity with different data types (EM, DC/IP, Radiometry, Magnetometry, Gravimetry, MT)
-Good understanding of geophysical data and experience with various software
-Experience with Python programming considered an asset
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team to foster and maintain good working relationships
Work Location & Schedule:
-Saskatoon Office
-Occasional travel to project locations in the field (Approx. 10%)
