Job Title: Accounting and Payroll Specialist (Automotive Group)

Location: Saskatoon, SK, Canada

Salary: From $50,000 annually, depending on experience

About Us: At Langenburg Motors 1967 Ltd., we are committed to excellence and innovation in the automotive service sector. We seek an Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our finance team and handle payroll inquiries, processing, and dealership accounting.

Position Overview: The Accounting and Payroll Specialist will support our growth by managing payroll for approximately 50 staff across multiple divisions, ensuring accurate accounting, and providing financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll runs and manage bank transactions
Oversee staff onboarding and offboarding in the payroll system
Ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws
Conduct internal audits and file year-end returns with the CRA
Identify grants, promotions, or cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of accounting/payroll experience in the automotive industry
Strong business acumen and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of automotive sales, finance, and service operations
Ability to pass a criminal background check

Bachelor's Degree (required)
Driving Licence (required)
Chartered Professional Accountant or Certified Management Accountant (preferred)
