Ensure that food items are stored in a safe place and any expired or near expiry items are dealt with
according to company regulations
Oversee that each employee follows food safety regulations and procedures to maintain quality of food and services
Prepares timetables, work schedules, cleaning schedules of employees and coordinates & supervise their preparation
Train, monitor and motivate staff regarding job duties, restaurant safety and sanitation policies &
procedures
Direct and coordinate the activities of food service workers in the kitchen and dining areas
Maintain and order food and non-food supplies, checks deliveries and maintain inventory records.
Take care of appropriate cleaning and maintenance of food preparation areas and equipment
Advice and ensure standardization of recipes, menu preparation, portion, cost and waste control
Resolve complaints regarding food quality and services.
