Job Summary:
Analyzes and reviews policy and procedure documentation prepared for Board and CEO consideration. Researches, develops and writes policies and procedures with supporting analysis of issues and impacts. Follows up and reports on status of policy/procedure development throughout the organization. Advises WCB staff and management on issues related to policy/procedure. Assists manager in developing plans for and completing assigned projects.
Qualifications:
University degree where the majority of classes focus on research, non-technical report writing, and/or policy studies.
Two (2) years experience demonstrating the following:
Proficiency in writing policies and procedures with supporting documentation.
Proficiency in researching, analyzing, synthesizing ideas and processes, and drafting reports for recommendations/decision making based on this information.
Database experience.
Excellence in communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently using sound judgement.
Positive, constructive interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to establish effective working relationships and commitment to teamwork.
