About YWCA Prince Alberts Our House Supportive Recovery Centre:
The Our House Intensive Program (OHIP) is a new program which will provide 24-hour staff support on site in a single room style residence for up to 6 individuals living with mental health disorders. The goal of the program is to be a transition step to less intensive services that exist in the community. The program is geared for those individuals who are in an inpatient facility and are ready to transition into the community but still require a high degree of support. The program may also be used as an alternative to hospitalization for individuals living in the community, who are struggling with maintaining their psychiatric stability.
Qualifications:
Education requirements include Practical Nursing Diploma;
Licensed with the Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses;
Must work effectively as a team member and model a pro-active approach, flexibility, tolerance, perseverance and competence in counselling, assessment, and crisis management situations;
Excellent writing and verbal skills are required;
Must possess a valid drivers license;
Understanding and awareness of First Nations culture;
Must pass YWCA Security Clearance (includes VSC);
Remuneration: $37.00 to $42.00/an hour Depending on Experience
