We are looking to hire a motivated & hard-working materials sales associate in our Yorkton plant.
Responsibilities:
-Prospect, establish & maintain strategic relationships with customers to identify & leverage the customers business goals, growth strategies, & profit drivers & deliver the appropriate value proposition strategy
-Work with management to develop sales strategies & new business prospects
-Respond to customer product & service inquiries,
-Engage in direct sales activities, promoting existing & new products & services
-Maintain cooperative & productive team relationships
-Attend training & sales meetings as required
-Meet or exceed sales targets
Skills/Requirements:
-Preference will be given to individuals that show a positive demeanor, a mechanical aptitude & have sales experience in a minimum of 2 of the following industries being forestry, industrial, agricultural, mining, municipal, food & beverage & refinery
-Expertise in Power & Transmission, Hydraulic Cylinders, Fluid Power & or Fluid Conveyance business segments
-Be sales, service & customer service oriented
-Displays empathy, effective communicator, listener, confident, strong integrity, & emotional intelligence
-Ability to prospect for new clients, very comfortable in cold calling
-Ability to utilize technology to source & find components & information
-Analytical, problem-solving capability as well as objection handling
-Strong communication skills both written & verbal
-Self motivated & the ability to work independently
-Completion of post-secondary education
-Sales cycle experience, B2B preferable
-Proficient computer skills Epicor or IQMS experience is an asset
