In this role, the Manager, Transnational Education (TNE) will:
- Create new TNE initiatives through new partnerships and current relationships,
- Develop sustainable financial plans for TNE,
- Ensure resource allocation for programs and services align with strategic priorities and meet
objectives,
- Coordinate the delivery of contract training, and other TNE initiatives,
- Collaborate with legal and financial stakeholders ensuring integrity and sustainability of
partnerships and mitigate institutional risks,
- Negotiate and manage memoranda of understanding and contractual agreements,
- Ensure operations and international partners comply with SaskPolytech values, policies, and
federal and provincial guidelines,
- Review and update existing policies, processes, and systems as they relate to TNE, and
- Manage employees throughout their employee life cycle.
You will also:
- Have a strong international contact network and experience supporting the preparation or
evaluation of tenders, partnerships, commercial opportunities, and funding requests.
- Experience developing and delivering transnational education programs, and international
contract training, and development projects
- Experience in relationship management, negotiating and interpreting commercial agreements or
contracts.
- Knowledge of transnational education issues within the context of an educational institution
(SaskPolytech).
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Recent history of management experience in an international setting.
Provincial, national and international travel is required to perform the functions of this role (international travel will focus on Asia and Southeast Asia).
