As Project Manager you will assess and estimate costs to remediate property damages due to fire, smoke, water, wind, etc. In collaboration with property owners, insurance and construction representatives, you will evaluate and assign the team to safely carry out cleanup and the first phase of returning properties back to their pre-disaster condition.
Your analytical skills, experience and ability to calmly relate to people in all situations will ensure success in helping people and their families return to their previous quality of life.
Based out of Regina, the territory of work is southern Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with property owners to perform site inspections, assess property damage and determine the cause of loss.
- Provide professional and calm support to assist them throughout the restorative process.
- Prepare cost estimates on the emergency service and restoration.
- Consult with subcontractors and engineers to ensure compliance with all codes and regulations. Select and manage qualified subtrades; ensure team instructions are clearly outlined and followed.
You will bring:
- Ideally a Certification for restoration services through IIRC. A combination of education and experience will be considered; in-house/on-line training is also provided.
- 2+ years Project Management experience, preferably in the restoration, construction or related industry.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and estimating software programs is ideal.
- Enthusiastic and service oriented, motivated to help people and their families from disaster to restoration. A calm, confident demeanour with excellent relationship building skills. Strong analytical skills, decision making and attention to detail.
Mon-Friday 8:00-4:30 with some overtime and the ability to work flexible hours.
