Star House Family Restaurant, located in Prince Albert, is the home of authentic Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine. The menu features classic Chinese food such as chow mein, fried rice, chicken meat balls, and pork spare ribs. We also offer different Canadian favorites such as steak, shrimp, and Greek ribs.
Job Duties:
1.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
2.Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service.
3.Implement policies and protocols that facilitate and maintain efficient restaurant operations.
4.Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
5.Implement and maintain customer service standards. Address customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
6.Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Ensure proper storage and handling of food and supplies.
7.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
8.Maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly transactions.
9.Prepare financial reports and monitor sales and revenue trends.
10.Assist in working with suppliers and collaborative planning as well as negotiating with clients regarding catering services.
Qualifications:
1.High school diploma is required.
2.A college diploma or completion of relevant programs in hospitality or food service management is highly preferred.
3.1-2 years proven work experience in a restaurant setting, including supervisory experience is required.
4.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5.Ability to manage a team effectively and resolve conflicts.
6.Customer service-oriented mindset.
