Responsible for leading the Finance functions, implementing financial strategies, programs and initiatives in the organization. This position will collaborate with the leadership team to ensure consistent alignment of financial programs and practices across the organization and will develop policies to support key activities and programs.
1. Provide leadership to the finance team, including recruitment, development and performance management
2. Provide financial analysis and interpretation of budget variances to advise and guide leaders.
3. Oversee the preparation of budgets/forecasts and the maintenance of general/cost accounting, payroll, payables and receivables.
4. Participate in short and long term strategic planning, supporting the General Manager and communicating with the Board of Directors.
5. Monitor trends and changes within the business, profession, industry and economy to align and implement programs and policies.
