Are you looking for a career in housing?

The Living Skies Housing Authority (LSHA) provides support to the Saskatchewan Housing Authority Network and Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC).  The Housing Technical Services (HTO) division provides property, program, technical, and operational services on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation and the housing authority network and is currently recruiting a Manager, Construction & Programs based in Saskatoon or Regina to lead a team in delivering services related to new housing delivery, grant program delivery as well as technical and operational support for the provincial subsidized housing portfolio.

What you will do:
Plan, manage, and direct the work of Construction Services staff in the Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert offices.
Liaise with the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) to implement housing initiatives.
Provide technical and program expertise and support to a diversified group of industry stakeholders.
Develop technical procedures and standards and contribute to the development of new policy related to environmental and construction issues.

What we are looking for:
In depth technical knowledge of the National Building Code, Uniform Building & Accessibility Standards Act and applicable building codes.
Proven experience in budgeting and strategic planning.
Demonstrated leadership, focusing on employee development in a unionized environment.

What you will need:
Post secondary education in the building sciences, successful completion of an Architectural or Engineering diploma and five to ten years of project management and building construction experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make effective decisions independently.
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and timelines.
