SASKATOON PUBLIC SCHOOLS REQUIRES A:
Permanent, Full Time Carpenter


Under the general supervision of the Manager of Maintenance, the Carpenter applies technical expertise in conjunction with other Maintenance Branch team members, in the inspection, maintenance, repair and installation of building materials within the school system. Carpenters are generally assigned to building maintenance, millwork fabrication, or hardware installation in various locations.

The successful candidate will have a Grade 12 or equivalent plus a Saskatchewan accepted status in the Carpenter trade.  A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience, preferably in building maintenance. Expertise in the use of hand, power tools and specialty tools related to the trade is preferred. All applicants should have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook email. The successful candidate will possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license with a clean abstract.
