Are you driven by a passion for enhancing youth mental wellness? Join our team as a Wellness Promoter with the Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) Program. We focus on universal health promotion and prevention, making mental wellness accessible and impactful for all students. By fostering a school culture of connectedness and safety, we aim to build resilience, increase mental health awareness, and support early interventions.
The Wellness Promoter, reporting to the MHCB School Coordinator, develops and delivers mental health programs for children, youth, and families. This role involves 80% direct interaction with children, youth, school staff, and parents.
This position is 1800 hours per year and includes summer programming. The hours are 8:00-4:30pm. The position supports both North Battleford Comprehensive High School and Battleford Central School.
