Description

The City of Swift Current is accepting applications for the position of Visitor Attendant for the Swift Current Museum in the Community Services Division. This is a non permanent casual position, primarily working Saturdays.

Under the direction of the General Manager of Cultural and Aquatic Services, this position will be responsible for duties related to greeting visitors, gift shop sales, and opening/ closing the facility.  

Basic Requirements:
    Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment, and familiarity with computers and windows-based applications;
    Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public;
    Clerical experience with processing payments;
    Responsible and Reliable; and
    A willingness to become Safe Places Certified.  

Desirable Requirements:
    Work experience in a museum.
