Estimating 16 hours of work per tournament, for 12 tournaments

Job Summary:
Are you passionate about empowering young people? Do you have a passion for the speech arts? Doyouenjoy reasoned discussions and debates?SEDA is looking for an energeticand organized person tohelp coordinate our speech and debate tournaments. Tournaments will take place both online and in-person.
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate and manage volunteers and staff.
Update and edit tournament resource packages/materials.
Coordinate and manage tournament logistics.
Lead information sessions during events.
Travel may be required.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimumgrade 12 education
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Leadership experience, and team oriented
Problem solving skills
Reliableandorganized
Speech and or debate experience preferred.
Digital skills - comfortable with technology
Access to vehicle.
As you will be in a position of authority and supervision over children, a successful criminal record and vulnerable sector check will be required.
