The successful candidate will:
-Create and facilitate the development, revision, continuous updating and improvement of indigenous focused educational resources.
-Identify gaps in resources as it relates to Indigenous languages, history and culture.
-Create and produce edited digital materials to support language programs.
-Assist in editing and revising locally produced materials for schools, and other educational organizations who utilize teaching resources.
-be experienced in the organization and operation of school resource centers (including book exchange; ordering; cataloguing; monitoring AV equipment; planning and organizing two annual Book Fairs)
-have familiarity with library systems
-possess good computer skills
-possess strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
