Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Construction, the Construction Lead is accountable to manage and lead the construction, commissioning and handover of KSPC projects. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Construction Planning, Execution and Leadership - 50%:

-Develop construction execution plans for construction projects
-Deliver projects safely, on time, on budget, and in accordance with the execution plan, required methodologies and regulatory requirements
-Provide active leadership to maintain safety integration in team expectations, deliverables and field execution activities including planning, construction, commissioning, and handover to Operations

Construction Management Systems, Processes and Controls - 10%:

-Participate in the development of the Projects department processes with the intention of building these processes to streamline and facilitate best practices in construction

Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Support - 10%:

-Continuously improve construction processes
-Ensure adoption and implementation of construction tools and processes

Sub-contractor integration and management - 15%:

-Monitor and coordinate contractor activities, outputs, risks, issues and requests for information

Project Team Leadership - 15%:

-Lead the team responsible for construction

-Journeyperson trade and/or bachelor's degree in engineering
-Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
-A minimum of 12+ years experience
