Description

Park Play Early Learning Center is a non-profit organization that operates a new 90-space Center in the Rosewood neighbourhood of Regina. We are currently hiring full-time Enhancement Accessibility Childhood Educators. The successful applicants must have at least one year of experience with an Early Childhood Education Certificate and be able to care for a child with Type 1 diabetes, including individualized care plans, continuous glucose monitoring, and insulin management.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly enhance the curriculum and the children's learning, both in planned and spontaneous play. By implementing activities and following the interests of the children between 18 months and five years old, you will play a crucial role in their development.
Planning and implementing an enriched Early Learning Program focused on the individual needs and interests of the children.
Your role will involve maintaining ongoing positive interactions with the children during classroom activities on an individual, small, or large group basis. This is a key aspect of fostering a nurturing environment, and your contribution will be highly valued.

Planning, organizing, and/or facilitating family education and family/child groups that reflect the families' needs and interests.
Promote well-being, encourage growth and development in children, and respect each child's uniqueness and individual needs.
Providing a safe environment that maintains orderly, clean, and appealing facilities and removes known and potential safety hazards.
ECE Level I/II
Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR-C, Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
A sound theoretical and practical understanding of typical child development
A solid understanding of the Play and Exploration Curriculum
Excellent communication skills
