Description

The North Central Family Centre is looking for a CY&F Program Lead to be responsible for designing, implementing, and coordinating programs and initiatives aimed at empowering the community. You will work closely with children, youth, families, community organizations, and stakeholders to develop strategies that promote personal growth, skill development, leadership, employability and positive social change.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop programs to address topics such as leadership development, career readiness, academic support, mental health awareness, and community engagement.
- Coordinate all aspects of program implementation, including scheduling, logistics, resource allocation, data collection and evaluation.
- Collaborate with community partners, schools, government agencies, and local organizations to maximize resources and capacity building.
- Monitor staff performance to organizational policies and procedures and make recommendations, observations and report to the Program Director.
- Provide training, workshops, and resources to enhance the skills and capacities of participants and staff.
- Raise awareness about issues affecting young people and families, mobilize community support for positive change.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, education, psychology, or a related field and/or relevant work and life experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with youth in community-based settings.
- Strong understanding of youth development principles, adolescent psychology, and trauma-informed practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
