Part-Time Children's Ministry Coordinator

Location: Estevan Church of God, Estevan, SK
Position: Part-Time Children's Ministry Coordinator
Hours: 10-12 hours per week, including Sunday mornings and occasional evenings

The Estevan Church of God is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Children's Ministry Coordinator. This role involves overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our children's ministry programs (nursery to grade five), ensuring a safe, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment for children.
This role includes planning and implementing weekly Sunday school lessons, organizing special events, and recruiting and training volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate weekly Sunday school classes and special events.
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate curriculum for children's Ministry.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers
- Develop and maintain relationships with children and their families.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about upcoming events and their child's progress.
- Collaborate with church leadership to align children's Ministry with the overall mission of the church

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in children's Ministry or a related field
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A passion for working with children and fostering their spiritual growth
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
