Prairie Diagnostic Services (PDS) provides veterinary diagnostic testing for infectious and metabolic diseases of livestock and other animals.  We are seeking a permanent fulltime Laboratory Technologist for a position in our Clinical Pathology Laboratory. This is a day position in all sections of the laboratory including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, cross match, cytology preparation, and endocrinology. The successful candidate will have superior lab skills acquired through the completion of Medical Lab Technology or other appropriate combinations of training and experience. MLT training, although not essential, is desirable. A minimum of two years of laboratory experience is preferred.

Typical hours of work are 8 hour shifts between 7:30 am to 6:00 pm with shared weekend and holiday rotations.

As an expectation of this work environment, you may be exposed to unknown, potentially pathogenic microorganisms. The successful candidate will be provided with a rabies vaccination.
