Description

Key Responsibilities:
1.    Team Leadership and Management:
o    Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and supervising a team of retail associates.
o    Provide coaching and support to staff to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
o    Schedule and manage staff shifts effectively to ensure adequate coverage during operational hours.
2.    Operational Excellence:
o    Assist in maintaining store standards for cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising.
o    Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management, including ordering and stock replenishment.
o    Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and loss prevention.
3.    Customer Service:
o    Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
o    Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
o    Foster a customer-focused environment among staff to build loyalty and repeat business.
4.    Sales and Performance:
o    Assist in achieving sales targets and profitability goals by promoting merchandise and maximizing store productivity.
o    Analyze sales trends and take proactive steps to optimize performance and minimize shrinkage.
o    Collaborate with the Store Manager on marketing and promotional initiatives to drive traffic and sales.
Qualifications:
    Previous experience in retail management or supervisory role preferred.
    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Additional Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail management is a plus.
    Knowledge of sporting goods and retail industry trends is desirable
