Description

The Journeyman Electrician will provide centrally delivered maintenance and emergency response to all OlySky Facilities.

General Responsibilities
-The maintenance of electrical equipment and services in assigned facilities.                                  
-The repair and/ or replacement of electrical equipment and services in assigned facilities.
-The installation of new electrical services in assigned facilities.
-To work with the Maintenance Supervisor on the purchase of electrical equipment and supplies.  
-The development and maintenance of effective working relationships with staff in assigned facilities.
-Ensure that all work is of high quality and meets electrical codes and professional standards.
-Ensure that all electrical work is done in a safe manner.
-Adhere to all Bio-security protocols.
-Timely response to emergency situations.
-Provide facilities with remote and on-site technical support
-Other related duties.

Education/Experience Required
-Journeyman Electrician Certificate in Saskatchewan/Interprovincial
-At least 2 years' experience in the electrical field
-Strong basic electrical skills
-Experience with 600-volt equipment
-Ability to work with computer programs and Facility Controls
-Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
-Exceptional organizational skills.
-Effective oral and written communications skills.
-A valid drivers license.
-Ability to work alone.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
