Description

St. Josephs Integrated Health Centre opened in 1996, is a modern facility equipped with 22 long-term care beds, two beds, a respite bed, a palliative care unit, and outpatient X-ray and medical lab services, taking pride in the longstanding tradition of serving the health needs of our community with a focus on respect, dignity, and compassionate care. The health center is not just a place of healing but a vital part of the community, actively engaging with local organizations, faith groups, and residents to foster a strong, healthy, and supportive environment.
Reporting to the CEO of Emmanuel Health, you will oversee the management of St. Josephs Integrated Health Centre guided by Catholic healthcare's mission and values of Respect for All, Collaborative Partnerships, Compassionate Care, Holistic Care, and Stewardship.
With a mandate to lead change and deliver excellence in healthcare services, you will play a role in Emmanuel Healths broader initiatives. In addition to overseeing the hospitals overall operations, team leadership, and fiscal accountability, you will collaborate with the other Emmanuel Health facilities and engage with the community and partnerships with SHA, the provincial government, and other community partners. This role requires a commitment to upholding the principles of the Health Ethics Guide, which the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops endorsed.
You will bring a post-secondary degree and have a proven track record as a strong team leader and strategic operations experience. Experienced with government relations and community partnerships, you will get a collaborative and value-driven approach, demonstrating a solid ability to work with the vulnerable sector and the communities you serve. You will deeply understand Catholic healthcare values and be committed to leading with compassion, respect, and a strong sense of community engagement.
