Description

The Saskatchewan Marshals Service (SMS) is a police service that will provide additional law enforcement presence throughout Saskatchewan with a focus on providing an increased presence in locations with higher crime rates and addressing high-risk, high-impact crimes such as those associated with gangs, illegal weapons, and drugs. In addition, the SMS will focus on apprehending high-risk and prolific offenders along with individuals with outstanding warrants and investigating farm-related offences like cattle theft, crop damage and trespassing.

The Saskatchewan Marshals Service is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative professional to join us in the role of Executive Coordinator.

As the Executive Coordinator, you will provide senior-level administrative leadership and office management support to the Executive Director, Operational Support Services and the Executive Team by:

- Managing the Executive Director's calendar through collaboration, prioritization and scheduling;
- Assembling all briefing and background materials in preparation for meetings;
- Monitoring emails and redirecting requests to other team members as appropriate;
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating travel and logistics for meetings, training sessions and other events;
- Monitoring administrative processes and making improvements across the branch to ensure optimum efficiency;
- Training, mentoring and supervising administrative staff within the office;
- Drafting, recording, proofreading and/or editing a variety of correspondence in accordance with Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) visual identity standards; and,
- Participating in and coordinating management meetings including drafting and distributing agendas; recording minutes; and, tracking and monitoring action items to ensure timelines are met.
